Welcome to Malvern

Hi there!  If this is your first visit to my website then I suggest that you read the Background page. The rest of you will just have to cope!

We have been in Malvern for just over a fortnight. What a great place it is!  The town is probably best known for the Malvern hills.  They provide an impressive backdrop to the town, rising to nearly 1,500 feet above sea level and extending for nine miles. At the moment, we are renting a flat near the middle (in an old house built in 1830) and we just have to cross the road to be on a footpath up to the top.  We also have a superb view from our window.

Malvern is also famous for its spring water, which is still (and sparkling!) bottled by Schweppes. It is also available (free!) at several springs in the area.

We also have a theatre / cinema and are within a short walk of Waitrose.

Heaven.
