The hills form a backdrop to the town
After a great deal of cutting and painting we managed to get them ready. All that remained was to carry them upstairs to the study........
A few months ago we saw these designer bookshelves in a magazine. After investigating, we discovered they also carried a designer price tag!
Undeterred, we decided we would try to make our own.
Success at last ..........
That was when we realised that the shelves were slightly bigger than they should have been!!!!!!!!!!
Could we haul them up on a rope and get them in through the landing window?
Isn't it marvellous what you can do with a few sheets of MDF?
The remarkable thing is that the MDF is only a quarter of an inch thick. (Let's hope it is strong enough to support all that weight.....)
Should we cut them in half?
